Running your theme park

 

Today you will think about the daily costs associated with running your theme park. These might include: 

  • Staffing- paying people to work at the park
  • Maintenance costs- keeping the rides safe
  • Electricity - to power your rides, attractions and amenities
  • Stock for food outlets
  • Liability insurance- paying for insurance in case anyone gets hurt whilst visiting the theme park

 

You need to budget for at least two weeks of operating costs out of your loan. After this, hopefully the profit from your park will cover the costs. 

 

Use the running costs sheet to create your own estimations and an overall total.
