L.O. To create an information leaflet

Every farmyard that opens to the public has it's own information brochure giving you relevant information about the farm including the setting, information about the livestock, what's on offer and maps.

For the next two lessons (today and tomorrow) you are going to make your own information brochure for Oak House Farm, imagining that it is going to be opening up to the general public. You need to create an information leaflet that interests the reader with a range of information, pictures/photos and a layout that is easy for the reader to follow.

For today's lesson you might want to start looking at brochures for other attractions, looking at the layout and information that is included. Once you have a clear idea of what you are going to include and the layout, you can then begin to create your own information leaflet.

In the resources section you will find a leaflet template if you wish to use it, you should also look at the success criteria which states the information that needs to be included in your information leaflet.

If you need anymore information about the animals or farm itself do not hesitate to get in touch.
