Maths: Wednesday 10th June

You will find today’s lesson by going into Geometry – Properties of Shape – Y5 Measuring angles.  In this lesson you will have a go at measuring angles.  It is quite tricky – be warned!  Just have a go.  Even in school this is a tricky concept to teach, as it is a little bit like riding in a bike!  You need to have lots and lots of practise at it.  Don’t worry too much if you can’t master it yet. It’s quite difficult doing it on a computer too. We have set the online homework too, in case you want to give it a go.

English: Wednesday 10th June

Starter:  Use the website to learn about different kinds of nouns. https://www.childrensuniversity.manchester.ac.uk/learning-activities/languages/words/naming-nouns/

English task:  The task we would like you to do today is explained in the document below.  It involves reading the text and using inference to answer the questions.
