Tuesday

Maths

Today there is a choice of two lessons again.  Only do one of them. Which one you choose to do will depend on how well you can read an analogue clock and if you are ready to move on from this to the 24-hour clock.

Lesson 1 will help you to read time to one minute on an analogue clock. This is a revision lesson from year 3. If you are already able to do that please have a go at Lesson 2 which is about understanding the time on the 24-hour clock.

Lesson 1 telling the time on an analogue clock to one minute.

Watch the video where Amber explains it to you then have a go at the worksheet.

Telling the time in analogue (part 4) Reading time to 1 minute

Lesson 2 Reading, writing and converting time between analogue and digital 24-hour clocks.

Watch the Oak Academy video and then do the short Oak Academy worksheet. If you want more of a challenge, do the White Rose worksheets instead.

LO: To explore imagery in a poem

We are looking at another poem by Grace Nichols today, which also personifies a type of weather. Your tasks are in the slides below. Again today there is nothing to print out, just work through the tasks, writing your answers in your book.

Environmental project

Carry on with the mini project you started yesterday. Have you researched the topic? What is your idea for a solution? How are you going to present your research and ideas?

Look at yesterday's webpage to remind yourself of what you need to do:

Monday 1st March (scroll to the bottom of the page)

‘Children are captivated by their learning’, ‘The well-being of pupils is at the heart of the school’, ‘School is a calm place - pupils are polite, courteous and well-mannered’
