In this lesson you will look at different representations (pictures and diagrams) of division to help you gain a deeper understanding of it. As you do not have the base 10 materials (dienes) or the place value counters, draw the representations in your book. You can draw yourself a Place value grid or print out the one below.

L.O. To explore the geography of Chile

The video today is quite long and tell you lots of information about Chile. Keep stopping the video to do the tasks set. Also while you are watching it draw a mind-map and record what you are learning about the geography. Record all the human and physical features and the natural resources you are told about. You could do 3 different mind-maps or do all three areas on one map but use a different colour for each of the three types of features. Below is an example of a colourful mind map, this is on air and water. Yours will be on Chile.
