Young Environmentalist Competition

Your topic work today is linked to the English work you completed last week.

We would like you to research some environmental problems and look at how they have an affect on climate change. When you have done this, your challenge is to think about what can be done to solve those problems and suggest a solution.

You can choose how to present your ideas. Here are some examples:
  • an eye-catching poster (could you use the poster you made last week and add some more detail?)
  • a written report
  • a video report
  • a design made using recyclable materials
  • a PowerPoint Presentation
  • a video or iMovie – could you use some of your Stop Motion skills in it?

If you would like to, you can enter your work into the Young Environmentalist Competition. Each entrant will receive a certificate and if chosen as a winner, you could be selected for the District and then National Finals!

Here is the PowerPoint to explain your task further. There are some links on the final slide to help get you started.

The above forms can also be found in Corinne's Meadow.
