Activity 1

Imagine you were going to build a house in an area that regularly had earthquakes. What sort of house would you build? What features would you include to help keep you safe? We would like you to design or build a house and explain or label the different features you would include. You could use ideas from the video to help or use your imagination and create your own safety features.

Activity 2

Imagine you were asked to help explain to somebody what earthquakes are and why they occur. Use your learning from the video and any other research you want to conduct to design an information poster that displays all of your understanding about earthquakes. You can design this however you like, the more creative the better!
