LO: To investigate suffixes (-ate, -en)
Today you be investigating the -ate and -en suffixes and set spelling words to learn. Do you remember what we mean by suffix? A suffix is a string of letters that go at the end of a root word, changing or adding to its meaning. You'll understand this more when you've completed the lesson!
Spilt your page into two columns labled 'root word' and 'new word' so you can record your spellings for this week 
We will add the spellings on to the website at the end of the day.
