3-D Shapes
3-D shapes are tricky to learn about without seeing and handling the shapes. Watch the Bitesize video to get an idea of what some of them look like. Then find the term 'three dimensional' in the online dictionary. There are several pages for you to work through including a quiz.
Try to find examples of the shapes around the house e.g. a tin of beans is a cylinder, a microwave is a cuboid. You could do a list of what you find together with the name of the 3-D shape that they represent or you take pictures of them and create a collage. Try to label the shapes in your collage.
