LO: To add and subtract capacity and volume
Today we are going to look at adding and subtracting different volumes. It is important to remember that 1 litre is equal to 1000ml. The full litres will then be the thousands in our place value grid. Any millilitres that don’t make a full litre will then be in the hundreds column. For example:
Please note: next week we will be looking at geometry and it will therefore be useful to have some squared paper. There is a plastic wallet in the outdoor classroom in Corinne’s meadow with some paper in, labelled Year 4. Please help yourself to the paper.
