Thursday

English – Thursday 11th June 2020

Today we will be continuing to look at chapter 5 ‘The Arithmetic’; the timings are from 35 minutes and 30 seconds to 42 minutes and 46 seconds on the audiobook. As always feel free to read the book yourself if you have a copy.

For today’s activity I would like you to choose one of the characters to focus us and outline what has happened to them in the chapter and what their thoughts and feelings would be. You could present this information in notes or a mind map, whatever works best for you. I have completed an example below for Michael’s experience. We will be using this information to write a recount of the chapter in tomorrow’s lesson so the more you think about what has happened to your character in the chapter and their reactions what happened, the easier it will be tomorrow to become them.
