Return to school, safe practice

We have a very small number of Reception children returning to school in June.

For those children and their families, we hope this section will prepare you for the changes that have been implemented, based on the government guidance.

These changes will support us in meeting the specific aims set out in our school handbook:

To ensure safest possible work practice for all employees
To reduce risk to all children and parents on the school site.
To reduce direct contact between children wherever practically possible
To ensure government guidance is followed correctly in the context of our school site

We ask you to look at each resource and choose the ones to share with your child that you feel they will best benefit from.

In addition to these general resources we are working on an information sheet, specific to our Reception class, with photographs to show the remodelling of the classroom environment and the activities on offer.

Please can we draw your attention to the handwashing requirement in our return to school handbook:

"It is essential that all children who are attending school know how to wash their hands properly before they return to school. Whilst guidance and monitoring is already in place within school, having these habits established will help everyone reduce risk."
