In this lesson we will be continuing to sharing objects into equal groups but with larger numbers. We will also be introducing the division symbol (÷) but the same principles apply. Can you break the numbers down to make it more manageable?

In this lesson we will be grouping objects into equal groups. You will be given the groups to put them into, but how many groups will you need?

Investigation Friday!

Today there are a choice of three investigations for you to select from. You can choose to do 1 of them, 2 of them or all 3 of them... it is up to you!

Each investigation is linked to our learning over the last couple of weeks. Just like in the classroom, there is no right or wrong way of recording your working out but make sure that you try to get your thinking down on paper. Don't worry about making misatkes either; you can always cross it out and find a new approach - it is all part of learning! Have fun!
