This lesson is a recap lesson from year 4, involving dividing 4 digits by 1 digit with remainders.  It models using a place value grid, although we will be working up to using the short bus stop method.

In this lesson you will be dividing larger numbers by 1 digit, using the short bus stop method. Refer to the power point to remind you of the strategy to complete this.

Friday 22nd January

Divide 4 digits by 1 digit with remainders

This last lesson on dividing involves dividing larger numbers by 1 digit, which have a remainder.  You can either choose to do the WR sheet, or choose the "Friday's maths with remainders" which simply uses the bus stop method.
