Marketing

Today you need to market your theme park to ensure you convince your target market to visit and spend their money in your park!

The amount you spend on advertising will depend on the amount of money left from your original business loan.

Think of ways that products and services are advertised and the pros and cons for each. Some examples could be:

  • Print- Advertisement within a newspaper or magazine
  • Billboards- Poster campaign
  • Radio
  • Television
  • Internet - Advertisement 'pop-up' on social media or web pages

You can choose as many advertising methods as you like as long as you stay in budget.

Now create an advert in whichever format you like. Remember the main features of advertisements such as:

  • Imperative (bossy) verbs
  • Key product information
  • Slogans/ catchy jingles
  • Rhetorical questions
  • Colourful, bold and eye catching
  • Exaggerated language
‘Children are captivated by their learning’, ‘The well-being of pupils is at the heart of the school’, ‘School is a calm place - pupils are polite, courteous and well-mannered’
