To practise persuasive techniques
In this lesson, you will be learning some new formal and emotions vocabulary. You will also practise writing some flattery sentences.
Thursday 11th February
To practise and apply knowledge of suffixes: -er and -est comparative and superlative, including test
In this lesson, you will recap the rules associated with adding the suffixes -er and -est for comparative and superlative adjectives, look at some exceptions of the rules and learn a spelling practice strategy. The 10 spelling words set in the previous lesson will be revisited and tested.
Friday 12th February
To write the opening of a persuasive letter
In this lesson, we will use the vocabulary we have generated so far to write the opening paragraph of our letter.
