World Book Day

World Book day saw us leap in to a world of dragons and adventures. We all dressed up as our favourite book characters and spend our day reading and exploring books.

World Book Day

To Infinity and Beyond!

This term we have been exploring the world of Tim Peake and his journey to The International Space Station.

The first Monday of term something strange landed in the playground! We enlisted the help of Warwickshire Police to investigate what it could be.

Warwickshire Police Investigation.

Throughout the space topic we have enjoyed find out all the interesting facts about Tim Peake. We have written some wonderful reports and stories about a journey to space.

To finish the topic we decided to throw a space day! In the morning we enjoyed designing and making rockets which we launched! We used alka-seltzer to build the pressure in our rockets, which made them launch in to the air!

After a jam packed morning we settled down to a film with popcorn and juice.

London's Burning, London's Burning!

This term we have been delving in to the past and learning all about The Great Fire of London. We began by building mini houses out of card and straw and re-enacted the Great Fire, with the help of Mrs Nayar.

Burning Houses

Bread Making

We discovered that the fire started in a bakery on Pudding Lane, so we made some delicious bread rolls together.
