You may have noticed how well Corinne's Meadow is coming along with new flower beds and splashes of colour from emerging flowers.

Katie Beswick who has been working really hard to get the meadow established has requested donations of butterfly and bee friendly plants such as Bee Balm, Borrige, Lavender, Marshmallow and Camfrey.

If you are able to donate any, please contact the school office.

The Department for Education requires schools to provide additional information regarding your child’s country of birth and Nationality for the Autumn School Census.  Please fill in the slip sent home this week and return it to the School Office as soon as possible. Thank you.

We are seeing an increase in the number of doctor/dental appointments being made during school hours.  Whilst we appreciate that some are of an urgent nature, we would ask that any routine appointments or check-ups be scheduled for out of school time please where possible.

Home School Agreement

We are again receiving complaints regarding parking outside school. Please do not park or drop off your children on the zigzag or double yellow lines outside school. We ask everyone to respect and be considerate towards our neighbours when parking and dropping off children. The police have been informed of the problems and will be conducting random checks outside the school. Please also be reminded that only parents with disabled badges who have notified school are allowed to park/drop off inside the school grounds. All other parents are asked to park safely and legally in roads around the school, respecting our neighbours.

Absence and medical arrangements: If your child is unable to attend school parents must telephone their children’s absence on the first day. If your child requires further medication upon returning to school you can either come to school to administer it to your child yourself or complete an Administration of Medication Consent Form for prescription medicines.

Bikes and scooters: We would like to remind everyone that cycling is not permitted in school grounds and it is advisable to lock bikes and scooters in the bike park at school.

Please be reminded that children are not permitted to bring in hard footballs for use during playtimes. Sponge balls only please.
