We have a number of parents in the community who give their time willingly, going above and beyond to help look after the school and continually improve it for the benefit of their own, or others’ children.
Children take pride too, knowing that Mum or Dad painted, fixed, built or helped with something. Things are looked after much better when you worked hard on them yourself!
Even with a caretaker, these jobs would be impossible without spending heavily. As a school we will never ask parents for ‘voluntary contributions’ towards children’s education as we do not believe this should be a parent’s duty. Donations should be for enrichment opportunities and not basic educational needs.
As school does not currently have a caretaker, we have a number of small jobs as pictured below. If you feel willing to help, please use the contact form underneath. If you know someone who would be willing to help, please let them know of this page. School will pay for any necessary materials needed to complete the job. We are extremely grateful for your kindness.
If you are kind enough to offer help with one of our jobs, please let us know which, along with any questions or other details you have. We will do whatever we can to make things as easy as possible regarding access to the building and providing materials (and coffee, and cake, and more cake)
