Thomas Jolyffe Primary School

Thomas Jolyffe Primary School

Thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Fayre

We are delighted to tell you that we raised £525.96 at our Circus Night!

Friends of Thomas Jolyffe Primary School (FTJ) are delighted to have been chosen as the local charity partner of Sainsbury’s Bridge Street Local. The news comes at a great time as FTJ faces an ambitious fundraising target for the year ahead – aiming to raise £50,000 to fund a new IT suite.

The purpose-built IT suite will transform the technology provision for pupils at Thomas Jolyffe. Once opened, it is also hoped that the unit will be made available for community use, through provision of a range of adult computer literacy courses.

A huge thank you to the staff at the Bridge Street store for shortlisting our school and also the 571 customers who voted for us.

FTJ (formerly known as the Parent Teacher Association) provides our school with invaluable aid. Please support this association - it provides huge benefit to your child(ren).  The association is organised and run by a Committee of volunteer parents who willingly devote time and energies to our school.

If you are able to help in any way please contact FTJ via the school office. Thank you.
We organise fun events for our children, parents and staff - and raise money at the same time! This money is then used to enhance our children's education and school environment, which would not be possible otherwise.  Items that FTJ provides funds for include the annual Panto trip for the whole school, annual PGL trip for Year 6, team sportswear and school bookbags for new Reception pupils.

Previous fund-raising events have included discos, quiz nights, bingo nights, fetes, fashion shows, etc. New ideas are always welcome.
