Cross Country Finalists

A huge Congratulations to Venus, Abbi, Henry, Olivia and Martha for qualifying for the County Cross Country Championships to be held on Saturday 24th March at Hatton. Their dedication, perseverance and determination for every event this season and continuously finishing in the top 10 has granted them a space in the finals where they will be making up the South Warwickshire team and competing against over 80 other children.

We wish them all the best of luck and look forward to hearing their result.

Good Luck and Keep Running!

Stratford Rec 10.3.18

This was the final event at the Rec for the Season, needless to say it certainly was the wettest and muddiest.

Thank you to all of the children who turned up for this event, despite the weather all children were adamant they were going to take part and finish the race regardless how muddy they were going to get.

A big thank you to all of the parents who brought their children out.

Well Done everyone. Results are attached.

Stratford Rec 13.1.18

Congratulations to all children who took part in the Cross Country event on Saturday 13th January. Again, it was lovely to see some new faces. The children were pleased that the rain had stayed away although the course was challenging at times, especially with the amount of mud underfoot. With perseverance, team work and a lot of positive support from the crowd all children completed their races, some of which gaining a new personal best.

Thank you to all of the parents and family members who came along to support their child, I hope to see you all at the next event on Saturday 10th February, Stratford Rec at 11am. Please encourage your friends to join us too.

Years 3-6

Where would you be spending a wet miserable Saturday morning? For some of our TJ pupils the thought of staying indoors did not appeal to them, instead they got their running shoes on and took part in the 2nd Cross Country event this season at Stratford Rec.

Wet, cold and muddy are just a few words to describe the morning but this did not stop children from Years 3-6 run the course with smiles on their faces, more so when they crossed the finishing line!

It was a very successful morning for TJ.  I was so pleased to see so many new faces from years 3 and 4.

Thank you to all children and parents who took time out of their weekends to take part in the Cross Country.

The next event will be at Stratford Rec (Yrs 3-6) on Saturday 13th January.

Charlecote Park (14.10.17)

The Cross Country season started off well with children from Year 5 and 6 taking part at Charlecote Park. It was really nice to see some old and  new faces to the Cross Country events. The children found the course challenging at times but all finished their races in great positions and with a smile on their faces.

I look forward to seeing all these children at the next event and hopefully more from Yrs 3-6

Next Event- Saturday 18th November, Stratford Rec, 11am for Yrs 3-6
